Summer Vacations... procrastinations

Yes it's almost October. (So sue me!) I wanted to share some of our summer fun. We visited some friends in Denver this summer. We left Nampa on June 17 and drove to South Jordan, UT and stayed with Tim, Mandi, & the girls. It was a fun stop. We got to swim in their neighborhood pool. Ali had a great time. She learned how to jump in the water (even when Mom or Dad wasn't ready). Then we left on Saturday and headed for Denver.

It was a pretty good drive. The kids were great. We made it to the Clarks by about 6:30 PM. Then we were ready to be out of the car for a while. While in Denver we took the kids to Cinzzetti's Itialian Restaurant, they loved it! Selah was actually talking about it last week! The adults went to Grand Lux Cafe for lunch on Wednesday and left the kids home. The kids had a blast playing with the Clark kids. They live across the street from an elementary school, so they were at the playground constantly. They even went on a rabbit hunt. While searching for rabbits they came across some deer. Selah thought they were "Kangaroos", it was the closest to deer she had ever been. We went a few other places, but for the most part we just hung out with Jyl & Tom. They're our oldest friends. It was a great time.

The last night we were there the kids wanted to go to a sporting goods store. So we went to Sports Authority in Parker, CO.
